How do I import into Obsidian?
Download and unzip the ZIP. Move the Markdown files and assets folder together into the same folder in your vault. Keep their relative locations and attachment names, then open your notes to check the images. Copying text or downloading .md alone does not include image files.

Questions about file conversion?
Clear answers about capabilities and limits.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. WebAssembly and a Web Worker process files in your browser. This page has no file upload endpoint or cloud OCR. Files and results stay in page memory and are cleared when you reload. The site uses Google Analytics to measure visits.
Can I use it without the internet?
Yes. The first visit needs an internet connection to load the page and conversion engine. Once it says “Offline ready”, you can reopen it offline in the same browser. Clearing the cache, private browsing or browser cache eviction can require another online visit.
Does it support scanned PDFs or image OCR?
PDFs with a text layer are supported. Scanned PDFs and image OCR are not. Files needing OCR show a conversion error and are never automatically uploaded to a cloud service.
What are the batch conversion limits?
Up to 50 files per batch, 30 MB per file and 150 MB in total. Files are converted sequentially in a worker; one failure does not stop the rest. Download results individually or as a ZIP.
Will the original layout be preserved?
Review complex tables, multi-column layouts and formulas. Scans need OCR, which is not supported. DOCX and EPUB can export image attachments; PDF and other formats do not retain images.
